Very helpful when picking out an instrument and got a complimentary tuner with my purchase. Also very convenient because I changed my mind on the instrument I wanted and they were able to put the money I already spent towards something else. Recommend renting an instrument to build rent credit, whatever you spent renting you’ll get off the price when you buy it.
This place is great if you want to rent or buy an instrument go to this place.
Friendly and helpful
Great service! Wish there was more selection but their wide expanse of all types of musical knowledge is unmatched in the area.
Very knowledgeable. Direct!
I have been going to White’s off and on for maybe 20 years? Some long-time staff are cool and extremely helpful, and I have also walked out when I was ready to lay down 7 to 800 bucks on a guitar because of the rude sales clerk they had at that time. They are the last of the local “mom & pop” music stores we’ve had in town over the years. I avoid Guitar Center with a passion and prefer to go to White’s when I can but, similar to Wal-Mart & Lowe’s compared to Ace hardware & your local department store (which there are few left), it’s hard to pay 5 bucks for an item you can get for 2 at the mega box store. Overall I like White’s but I have had a few bad experiences there (however the people who were rude seem to pass through, Guitar Center is almost ALWAYS rude as if it is corporate policy) in my experience.
Low inventory. Cluttered. Go to guitar center.
I ordered a piano book from this store and was told it would be there in two days. When I called to see if it was in I was told to call back. Well it’s been about 10 days and no book. when I called to ask about it the guy said still not in,.when I said do I need to go somewhere else to get it, the jerk says sure we’ll just cancel your order. Thanks a lot for wasting ten days of my life and now my granddaughter has to go to piano practice two weeks in a row without the supplies she needs!
Never has anything in stock. Had to go to Guitar Center’s Percussion Department for what I needed.

Sales staff was helpful and friendly. Helped me with Epiphone 335 guitar. Thanks!! Let me know about Guitar sale days. Thanks Andre.
Friendly, helpful, got to point of the product I was looking for. Fast and efficient!
very knowledgeable staff . Very nice place, very happy with our purchase..
good experiance
Willing to help with good attitude.
Wow…..they don’t have an experienced guitar technician. I show up with my guitar to get the action worked on and they tell me they don’t have a guitar tech. What kind of music store…especially with the name Guitar Center, does not have someone that works on guitars? Lame lame lame
Better off ordering from Sweetwater.
Had a problem with being offered a discount over the phone for a guitar tuner. In reality was told that the salesman who offered the discount had no authority to do so.

Jeff is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has always recommended what type of instruments to play for beginners and what brand to get.
Always willing to help out newbies like me. No uppity snobs here.
Jeff was helpful and creative in solving my connection issue
It’s o.k a little pricy but no choice unless going to visalia..
buena atencion, siempre encuentro lo que busco,y buenos precios…
Every time we’ve been in that store the staff act like we’re an inconvenience and they want us to hurry up and leave. It sucks that it is the only store in town. Besides that, fair prices.
I am not satisfied with Jeff’s Music store at all! In December of last year, I purchased a set of Peavey mics as a gift to our church. During our first worship service, we noticed that the one mic kept going off. Thinking it was probably the battery, we replaced the battery. Did fine for a short while and then went off again. The repeated changing of the battery caused the cover to break. I took the Mic back to Jeff to see if they would replace 2 weeks later. He kept the mics for 2 weeks while he said he would contact Peavey to see if they would replace it. After repeatedly calling and going by to check on it, I was told that the button on the Mic was broken and Peavey wouldn’t replace it. My thing is that I purchased the Mic from Jeff and not Peavey! I returned it within 30 days of purchase and was told “Sorry, there’s nothing I can do.” I’m sorry I ever spent the $513 for the mics there! And the $500 drum set last Christmas! And also the $85 a month drum lessons I spend on every month. I will not be purchasing anything more from Jeff’s Music. He does not stand behind his products that he sells. I will go to Visalia next time.
Eric Anderson is one of the most professional music instructors I have known. His enthusiasm for education, emphasis on proper technique, and consistent punctuality make him stand out in the field of music education. Would recommend very highly!
This is a question: is this place for children and it if is what age

Great store, great prices on records, great owner and very cool store. I wish they were in Fresno so I didn’t have to drive so far.
It’s always fun coming in here and browsing what they have, especially when I uncover an old gem I had long ago forgotten about! And if you can’t find what you’re looking for there, the owner will special order it for you. I am glad to have this in downtown Visalia!
I Love this place. The vibe is eclectic and the guy who always stands behind the counter is very nice. My teen and I like to browse Because there is always something new. In the back there’s also several boxes of vinyls That are very cheap because they have not been cleaned and tested. We have gotten many from those boxes That are have worked fine for us. It is fun because we have built a very eclectic collection of music from these boxes. Everything is fairly priced. It’s just a good environment also. There is always music playing and it’s a fun place to relax and browse music.
Good medium sized second hand store with, more importantly, a good selection of stock. I even bagged some Steely Dan cassettes for under $2. Owner was friendly and chatty. Next time I’m back in that area I’ll drop in for sure.
It is a great record store they have used CDs vinyl records some cassettes it is a great atmosphere if you have a question they’re always willing to help you and solve a problem that you’re seeking for I wish we had more stores like that in Visalia
좋은 음반들이 그리 다양하진 않습니다. 그래도 이런 공간이 있다니 좋았습니다. siegel-schwall band를 알게 해주어 고마웠습니다.
Very small, their “punk” section was unimpressive and so was the alternative selection
