Cute little coffee shop in historic Williams. It has coffee, some breakfast items, shirts, hats and a few other knickknacks . I arrived just a little before 8am and there was only one person in line before me. They offer some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the local latte which was a mix of Carmel and Vanilla with Almond milk. My husband had just a drip coffee. Service was fast and the coffee was really great. There was lots of seating inside. We had our dog with us so we couldn’t stay but there are 2 benches outside if you want to sit outside and enjoy the morning. Highly recommend this place.

Used boh drive-thru and inside service. Drive-thru spilled coffee on me and door of the car as the lid popped off (hey, accidents happen). Inside service is essentially self serve for coffee.

The coffe is good the service is poor. I’m really bummed I like supporting local businesses. But after a few times of repeated poor and rude service I won’t be back. Only 1 out of 5 times did they write my name on the cup, so you’re asking other customers to make sure it’s your order.

I have tried and tried to buy a license plate from “Addicted to Route 66”. It was to be the finishing touch to the front end of a 69 truck that came here from Chicago on 66 in 1969 but the link to their online store is dead. Their phone is never answered and makes sounds like a data / fax machine most of the time. They do not answer emails. This is over the last three months!!! How incredibly unprofessional. I tried to buy this item directly from “On The Road Wholesale” who makes it but they insist that I must buy from “Addicted To Route 66” even though I told them that I can’t contact them and that they are apparently out of business. How do these people make any money? Maybe their actual store is operating but that doesn’t help me. I will not go to Arizona ever again. How frustrating that a store has no phone and that the owners are so rude and unprofessional that they do not even attempt to communicate through emails and are so messed up that their online store has been removed. Add to that the fact that their wholesaler only has ONE retail outlet and I must say DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! DO NOT ACCEPT THIS KIND OF UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE!!
I don’t care how nice the owner is. Selling confederate memorabilia has no place in this country. There’s an unwelcoming dark cloud hanging over this town and it starts in this store.

I have been here before and thought the couple working were nice. Today we went in and asked about getting a sandwich with just ham and cheese, and one with just turkey and cheese. This is due to certain allergies. The guy said you’re better off going to Safeway and buying stuff to make it yourself. Good way to lose money for your business. Subway staff were accommodating and very welcoming.
I’m not usually one to knock a place, but we have been on a long family vacation and have now eaten out 45 meals in a row, all at local locations along the way. This was the 2nd priciest meal and without a doubt the worse. The meats & cheeses were very low quality, which didn’t match the bread and veggies, which were good (except the sub roll was dry). All the chicken was in the middle, not spread out and barely warm, and the turkey and grilled cheese were so bad they didn’t get eaten. Sadly, the other family beside us had the same issue as they threw away more then they ate as well. The potato and mac salads were different with things like fresh dill and pickles, but maybe that is a regional thing?
I got a pastrami sandwich and potato salad. The sandwich was hard the meat didn’t look real more looked like processed meat and nasty potatoe salad, for 15.87 you would think it would have been better, I will never go back, almost want my money back….

This place has the best deals in town. And the proceeds are going to a good cause! The profits go to a camp for special needs individuals. We got a couple thing that had a great price. Definitely check this place out!
The inventory in the store was really neat, however the woman working was horrible, rude and nasty. Would have loved to explore the store more but her hostility made me not even want to bother.
Didn’t even buy anything after the owner yelled at my daughter for literally touching a stuff animal to see what it was. She was so concerned about gossiping with her friend she didn’t even say hi welcome in. Just rude all the way around. And no we aren’t tourist but won’t ever step foot in her over priced store again.
If you’re just “looking” then expect to be stared down and followed. Along with being yelled not to touch. Very unwelcoming.

Most of the parking lot is at a slant… shower wasn’t all that clean, water pressure fades in and out very often… long walk from (truck) parking spots to store causes a lot of people just parking where ever they want just so they don’t have to walk far

We stop here on occasion, not a bad place, I love their sound effects on the speaker, although today was an eye sore when we noticed their egg rolls on the roller grill looked like beef jerky, please toss them & put some fresh ones on.

Everyone was kind and friendly but it seemed they were terribly understaffed. The meal at Fred Harvey restaurant was excellent and well served. The poor waiters were understaffed but hard-working. Our experience on our vacation was that it was hard to find a good place to eat that was well staffed with good food. All national parks were very very crowded.

Great for kids and the experience. Took the first class, comfortable but it’s pricey. Each car had a guide. Ours was very nice she took time to talk to everyone. We had the same guide the next day on the way home. Had entertainment both ways. We did stay at the hotel and it was convenient for us. Seems like most people go up and back the same day. You have about 4 hours to hike around. When we were there no cash was excepted. Even for a bottle of water you had to use a credit or debit card. No shuttles were going due to the virus. We will go back and drive so we can go and see more.

Train ride too LONG!!! Should only take 1 hour to get to the Grand Canyon by car. Took us 2 & half hours?!? Train only travels at 40 mph??? Craig our train attendant was super nice. Entertainers were rude(on timed schedules & weren’t ashamed to announce it). Lavatories not clean.

Reading the reviews are the worst thing to do. I came in with a mindset of bad food, but from the check in with Barbara and the service from our waiter Jade….I am impressed with the service in addition to the food we had. I was not disappointed! Do yourself a favor and give it a shot! The dessert was amazing too!
It looks like a lot of the reviews vary and I’m sure different staff plays a large part. I visited at the end of July 2021 and I had a great experience. The food is pricey and since it’s a major tourist location, I was expecting high tourist prices for mediocre at best food. I was pleasantly proven wrong. I split the fish and chips and the Fred Harvey burger with a family member. They were both fantastic. The fish was light and crunchy and the French fries were delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked and tasty to boot. The portions are fairly large as well. Our waiter was awesome. Super on top of it and friendly. If I ever go back to the Grand Canyon, I would definitely eat there again.

Food and service was OK, (Buffet) a little over priced, but when you show up at the front entrance their are a lot of stairs to go up with NO handicap rap. You have to go all the way down the side of the building to the back of the building to get on to a handicap ram and than walk all the way back to the front entrance. Not very handicap friendly.
WORST BUFFET LUNCH EVER!!! if there was an option for NEGATIVE STARS i would chooser that. i came here as part of the Grand Canyon Travel and Tour and it was the worst experience ever. i have NEVER EVER TASTED food this bad. the potato salad had clearly gone bad and the rest of the food was disgusting. I think children from africa would rather choose to STARVE than EAT THIS GARBAGE they call food.

Ridiculous price— $30 each— for a sad buffet not even as good as Golden Corral, and that is an unacceptable baseline. No selection, empty trays, the website talked about a lot of foods and desserts. They don’t appear to exist in real life here. Don’t go here for any reason.
Update: You have to ask the server for dessert. You wouldn’t know this unless you ask “where are all the desserts I see on the online menu?” The server is helpful and just lovely, the gentlemen serving food are great. This is still overpriced, and it’s a bit odd to have nothing about the desserts at the table. Disappointing and frustrating experience.

This place was recommended to us by our hotel, and I can only figure they are required to send people here. The food was extremely overpriced and did not even come close to living up the the descriptions on the menu. One person ordered the BBQ chicken plate and could barely stomach it, describing it as boiled chicken that is barely grilled, just enough to warm it up. The beans that came with almost every dish tasted like someone had dropped an entire container of cumin in, not good at all. Two people ordered the brisket plate which they said was OK. I myself ordered the burger that comes with brisket on it and coleslaw. My dinner was decent, but when you factor in that the beef pattie was frozen, not fresh, and it came with a price tag of $18 it was extremely overrated. Over all the service was OK, but nothing to entire home about as well. Bottom line, if you are in the area check out one of the other restaurants.

Service is ♀️ walked the girl at the booth said it will be 15 min wait feel free to go to our gift shop we will call you when ur table is ready needles to say 3 groups down after us 25 minutes later, we walk back up an ask about our table, yup she forgot us, that we excited. We asked for a table, on floor when we got there due to my disability, and where does she give us a table up stairs to climb, maybe nothing major to others but major for me. No guard rails etc. My husband asked her if there was a ramp etc she ignored the question, him period rude as could be this woman. I couldn’t go down to get my drink, I couldn’t go to restroom due to access etc. It was one of those I got to the table now I have to wait to leave situations. Only good thing here was the male waiter we had he checked on us like every 15 minutes he was great. Dinner for two no dessert $68.97 waiters tip +20 waiter was worth it. Food, atmosphere, seater female not worth the wait, time or energy.
Parking: We parked a whole block down to eat here. Not worth the walk . No handicap noticeable parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: I didn’t even notice any ramp on outside there were two step up step downs on the ground floor 3rd one had a small ramp no ramp to the 4 step up dining area.
I ate there today food over cooked do not eat at this place all ribs where dry chicken dry even dark meat. Potatoe salad, cornbread was good and beans.

Great little historic town! Small but has great places to eat, and it was fun to window shop down Route 66 of downtown Williams. The train depot to hop onto a train for a 2-hour ride to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim is within a 5-minute walk from downtown.

We came to visit for a weekend for the Grand Canyon, and stopped to eat here on our first night. Definitely a cute place to get a drink and some food. I was lucky enough to order the Mac n cheese and it’s DEFINITELY one of the most delicious Mac n cheeses ever! If you’re going to order anything here, it should be the mac n cheese. It was a big size and was warm and cheesy.
Entrees were great. Server forgot to get a drink order from one of the party. Then, we ordered an appetizer and it came out super fast which is great but then it was cold and clearly made for someone else and then given to us. 3 overall
Great beers, good food and reasonable prices. William’s is a fun place to visit when heading to the Grand Canyon. I wish the high top stools were more comfortable. Outside dining is fantastic, but it’s been a little cool lately.

For a town that relies on tourism, these guys need to step up their game with customer service. It took nearly an hour to get food on the table, was never offered a refill on my beverage, and additional orders were never brought to the table.
This looked like a great place but we were sadly let down. Exceedingly negative staff made this a very poor experience.

We stayed 2 nights and the red roof inn and found ourselves at Miss Kitty’s both nights! John and his staff were so welcoming! They were able to give us ideas of things to do and places to see! We will be back!
Miss Kitty’s was okay. The food was palatable, but nothing special. The one waitress working was great, but she had way too much work to handle herself.
I didn’t get to try the dinner, I would hope that it’s better, but given that my steak was an overcooked, unrecognizable cut, I doubt it.
My wife liked the hash browns quite a bit though.

Took the Grand Canyon Railway. Beautiful scenic route, with adorable “railway robbery” and banjo tunes. Gave a wonderful history of the area and recommended top notch eating! It was a delight to ride first class.
The train ride into the Grand Canyon was wonderful. It is the best way to get into and out of the park. The attendants were very accommodating and pleasant. Mackenzie and Brian were great. In the Dome Car the views were worth the premium price. Definitely would go again as a couple or with a big family.
A great value for the money. Short enough trip that the kids don’t get bored. Trip includes hot chocolate, cookie and jingle bell gift. Seats were comfortable and it was very organized getting both on and off. I would recommend to families with kids under 12 years old.

Had a good time
I’ve never done business with a more deceptive travel company. We stayed at the xanterra owned Grand Hotel in Williams,AZ. From there we took the xantera owned train from Williams, AZ to xanterra owned kachima lodge at the Grand Canyon NP, AZ. A number of changes were made from the original reservation. I wanted a print out of all charges and the said I’d need to request that from my booking agent, xanterra!
Went I went to the desk to check out they said since I booked through a third party( xanterra Grand Canyon Railway.) i needed to get the final charges from them. You see every location or service of xanterra is a separate LLC. And every site says every other part is a third party.
So i called 800-the-train and the auto-menu said to press 8 to reach the business. Try it yourself.
This company will never make 4 star status.
I stayed in five star hotels. You just look at am employee and they offer to help. A four star hotel you have to ask and they do whatever they can to help.
At xanterra they are trained to deny, deflect and defend all requests from customers.

Passing through states I stopped into this tourist town it seems and found this place, I haven’t tried the food other than the egg roll appetizer which was good, but I definitely tried the booze. The outside dining is nice and the indoor bar area has got a dive bar feel to it. Difference is that it’s a tourist melting pot which was really kewl. You can staple a dollar bill with your name on it anywhere in the bar for memories/”I was there”!. Happy staff, good conversation and good vibes, I plan on returning soon on my way back home to eat here and check on my bill .
I don’t like giving 4 stars because we really do love this spot. Seems like a handful of WONDERFUL people are running a very busy place. We dined between lunch and dinner time. The staff is awesome, great people. The Saloon is so fun, the locals all know each other which makes it a fun atmosphere. Food was amazing, great portions. But they need more staff for sure, service was a bit slow. But overall 5 stars. Just plan on not being in a hurry and just enjoy the atmosphere and vibes.

I rarely give such a low score. We sat outside, as most people were, and waited forever to be served. There were waitresses but they didn’t scan the area for customers ‘in need’; only did one job/table at a time. We saw more customers that were frustrated for being ignored. Eventually, we left and found another restaurant.
Atmosphere is kinda old-fashioned cool, but the food is terrible.
