The first thing that impressed me was his meticulous note taking. Taking precise measurements of the neck, nut, saddle, pick ups.
David explained all details of my recent repair, A Michael Kelly brand 1967 series Strat.
He spoke in detailed and technical jargon and made me feel comfortable leaving my instrument with him.
A few days later my guitar was done, repaired and ready to go.
The set up was spot on ! , and the new “Hot Rail “pick up was the extra fuel this guitar needed!. I love his work and true professionalism. I highly highly recommended anybody in Yolo and Sacramento counties to bring their instruments to David’s Broken Note.
I am a satisfied customer, for sure.
Really grateful for Davids expertise. Was able to advise on a few high end acoustics. He is VERY honest in favor of the customer. Would recommend.
Good for repairs but if youre looking for instruments there is a minimal selection.
Buen lugar para caminar
I dropped a banjo off at the beginning of February. After two calls to them and no calls from them, I came and picked it up. Took them a long time to find it. Can’t recommend these guys.
Our daughter has been attending Rosendale’s 88 Keys Academy for a couple of years now and loves it. I’ve always been impressed on how much she learns. Ms. Jia-Min encourages them to be part of recitals from the very beginning to help them get used to the process. It is a great place to go for music lessons for your kiddos or yourself and is a very family like atmosphere.

Fantastic place to find some used books, especially if you’re willing to dig. More books than you could ever imagine reading and a lovely place to be. Owner is helpful too!
I found the Frommer’s guide book that I was looking for. The books are arranged in a findable manner but it helps to ask the owner for help. The store is clean and comfortable. There isn’t much seating but I managed to find a chair that allowed me to read several selections and decide what I wanted to buy.
I like it, but a bit of a cluttered mess.

Other Walmarts around Sacramento Vallejo Yuba City they have a lot better products than they do here and willing I’m sorry Woofland
Average for any Walmart
Happy day
Pick ups are in way back. Had stickers all over my order but they stopped me at the door a ridiculous amount of time while they called the back. Unreal they are the ones who don’t give you a receipt in back.
Gets the job done, but customer service near non existent.
Why does this place smell like a dirty restrooms? Even though the place seems clean? This place has a smell at the entrance.

Fun, clean, and endless supply of gems hidden in the store.
Very pleasurable store
Got a beautiful garnet ring at a great price. Love the collections here
Lots of stuff and $$$
I always go here when I’m in town
Coming down from Oregon to central California my 73 year old wife and I looked forward to stopping at your store – We had been in your store before and bought about 300 dollars in merchandise. When we entered the store today after shopping for about fifteen minutes my wife needed to use the restroom as we had used it before in this store. One lady said yes and one said no. I overheard the conversation and asked again after they told my wife to go down the street. I told them we would no longer be shopping in their store and they said fine. Not a good way to treat good customers. I will never return to this store –
This place is the worst place to actually sell things. One exception Mike awesome. Staff members constantly everytime Everytime say no. I try to bring nice things but no,no,no.. So i will take my biz elsewhere.

En cuánto a la tecnología es muy bueno y los precios son muy buenos y la atención súper buena.
If you looking for quality brand that’s the place
Purchased a new freezer at a lower price . Lots of good help in the store .
Not as good as Fry’s.
An average store, but staff was friendly and helpful.
From Sacramento, drove to Woodland to pick up my Laptop cuz there were only 2 left. But the workers were so cold and not approachable. Even this other customer needed some help and had to ask. Workers should be ready and approachable to help.
They all say make a appointment to ask questions
Very bad service
Never had an good customer service experience coming here or any Best Buy for that matter. As long as you know what you want and you are just coming to grab it and go…your good. My daughter and I were in there for 20 mins checking out the Soundbar systems, we had one guy walk by a row over and 3 guys walk out from the back and not one asked if we needed any help. At 3pm with no one in the store you would think they would have time to assist. Nope.

Had a wonderful experience today, great items, good prices and very friendly staff that help me to my car
Fair prices friendly and well maintained
The staff is friendly, good deals on 50% off days, clothing organized by size.
This is MY FAVORITE thrift store in Woodland!! And since the last take over of new owners, even the regular prices have been CUT and offer MUCH MORE savings! Then…Thursdays are STILL HALF OFF EVERYTHING days!! And on those days you WON’T BELIEVE HOW MUCH YOU SAVE!
Free parking, nice variety of clothing, mondays 50%off for seniors. Easy to notice off main drag.
Wanted 73.50 fir an old bowling ball. Way over priced. Not willing to even look at the prices.
Haven’t been here in eons. Lots of clothes but if your a woman, not petite, bigger than med/large. Good luck! Now I remember why I always went elsewhere, which is now closed, for other reasons.
ATTN: DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU’RE LOOKING TO BE HARASSED, THREATENED, FOLLOWED & INSULTED BY STAFF!
After finished purchasing nearly $40 worth of clothing I was standing near the register with my belongings propped on top of a piece of furniture waiting patiently for my partner to finish her shopping. Her wallet was in my bag, and as I was retrieving it for her so she could proceed to check out I was approached by two employees who wrongfully accused me of stealing. When asked I emptied my bag. Nothing was found. Once they realized they were wrong one of the ladies started going off telling me the hoodie I was wearing belonged to the store after I walked in wearing it over my clothes, taking it off once it became to hot & uncomfortable to continue to wear. They both didn’t believe me or my partner after repeatedly stating what I was wearing indeed was mine! Minutes of arguing continued back and forth as several customers stared watching everything go down. Finally she asked to look at the tag attached to my shirt. After showing her, once again she was proven wrong.
However, I am no longer allowed in that store. Not only was I wrongfully accused, I was also threated and called many horrible names by one of the staff members. She followed me out and once I was out of the store she stood in the doorway still insulting me. Both staff members refused to give me their name when asked. This issue easily could have been resolved by apologizing, instead of walking up and instantly demanding to open my bag, then to give up my personal shirt I walked in wearing. Very unprofessional, very uncomfortable, very embarrassing situation, last but not least very hurtful. No customer should EVER be treated like this, even if that customer is doing something they shouldn’t be doing! I’m extremely sickened and disappointed for spending my money here to be treated this badly in return by being harassed and humiliated.
Really great coffee and beautifully delicious waffles for any time of day. My suggestion is to call out orders by name or point out the number on the receipt. Someone took our order.
It’s a local gem.
Great staff, Great waffles and even better coffee.
Coffee was okay. Service was okay.
The meat lovers waffle was great and really hit the spot. It was extremely filling.
We didn’t eat there because the menu was too limited.
Great waffles but espresso is hit and miss.
I had a cheesy jalapeno bread from the case and it was STALE. If you’re not going to sit down and order, don’t go there. VERY disappointed.
Stars given are for the gorgeous location. Beautiful old mill building and nice atmosphere. The food was all microwaved (Costco frozen breakfast sandwich) and sloppily-made (avocado toast with barely warmed – not even remotely toasted bread -with microwaved eggs that was a mess to try to eat).
Latte was pretty looking, but only so-so tasting.
I was really looking forward to trying this place and it was a letdown.
