Hands down one of the best acoustic guitar musicians I’ve had the pleasure of watching perform! Very knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with, and has such a delightful personality! 20/10 ⭐️
Graced by Guitar played at my wedding ceremony and reception and I would give him 10/5 stars if I could! He was very easy to communicate with via text and without a lot of direction from us he was able to read the crowd and flow of the evening. He thoughtfully used his playing to make the toasts more lively and elevate everything. He gets two big thumbs up from me 🙂
It is a fantastic experience hearing Jeff play! Very dedicated and talented musician. We look forward to attending many more Graced by Guitar performances to come!

Address: 3094 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 , Woodlawn Beach , Florida , United States
My daughter takes guitar lessons at ARC music and has for more than a year now. She loves it and is learning a lot. This is a wonderful locally owned business. The owner does great work and repair on guitars too plus has lots of beautiful ones on display. Great location to visit and support.
Best music store and studio around. Also great teachers.
At age 45, I decided to finally pursue piano lessons. I had wanted to learn for many years, but heard it was much more difficult for adults than for children. I had no prior musical experience and no clue how to read music. I’ve been taking lessons with Sheila Bishop at ARC Music and Sound for about 10 months now and it has been a wonderful experience. Sheila was very patient as I learned the basics and continues to provide excellent instruction as my skills progress.
I’ve also had the opportunity to observe Shelia’s interaction with her younger students. She’s as patient with them as she has been with me. She gets very excited as she sees their progress and often rewards them with fun stickers for their accomplishments. There’s a young boy whose lesson is before mine and it’s such a joy to see his beaming face as he exits his lesson, clearly proud of his work. Shelia always takes time to speak with his parents, letting them know how well he’s doing and offering suggestions on things for him to work on at practice time.
I’m thrilled that I found my way to Sheila Bishop at ARC Music and Sound for piano instruction. It’s a joy to go to my lesson each week and I plan on continuing lessons for years to come.
I’m honestly shocked at all of the good reviews this place has. This is a guitar shop, not so much a versatile music shop as I had originally anticipated; and they let that be known as soon as I started to inquire about flute accessories and information. The guy was unfriendly and short saying, “we really only work on guitars here” and seemed disingenuous and annoyed that I was even there asking about stuff for a flute. I’m appreciative that I was able to leave with a little something of a cleaning kit but, I have never felt so unwelcome in a shop like that before and will not be going to this “music store” again. They should probably change the sign to “guitar store” in the near future to avoid anymore awkward, uncomfortable encounters.
3. Minds On Music
Address: 3206 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 , Woodlawn Beach , Florida , United States
Always a pleasure!! Every time I see the owners, they consistently show a sincere pleasure during conversation. The teachers are spot-on! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
We love Minds on Music! Our child loves her instructors and the program! We are so happy that Minds on Music is located in Gulf Breeze!
Our son has been taking piano lessons for over 5 years and also drums for over 2 years at this music studio. He has grown so much thanks to the guidance and instruction of the teachers and staff at Minds On Music. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming, and many thanks goes to this special place for helping build his musical talent as well as building overall confidence in general. It is a lot of work with many challenges, but they make it so much fun! We truly feel like we are part of this studio family and plan to remain so for many years to come.
Great little shop and the owner is an awesome guy. Had a few issues with my Uhaul return and he solved them all without any issue! Would definitely go here again and recommend to friends.
Great place to rent a Uhaul. Staff is crazy nice, even when I called back days later for help. Highly recommended!
Rented a uhaul utility trailer from Peter. What a great guy – easy going, with great customer service.
Worst customer service. Terrible attitude and doesn’t comprehend how to treat people with respect
WORST U-Haul experience EVER! Did not answer my questions about returning my trailer there vs my contracted return location. Didn’t bother to check in my returned trailer until Monday–two days after I reurned it raising my bill from $30 to $160. U-Haul corporate blamed Live Oak for not following procedure but would not remedy their dealer’s error nor refund the extra charges. Spent hours on the phone with U-Haul customer service only to be promised return calls from supervisors who didn’t bother to call me back. U-Haul wouldn’t even provide me with the phone transcripts and text transcripts that I requested on multiple calls and chats. Live Oak Trading is probably a great consignment store but avoid U-Haul like the plague.
Nasty little man behind the counter…buyer beware!
6. Leitz Music – Pensacola
Address: 1921 Creighton Rd, Pensacola, FL 32504 , Woodlawn Beach , Florida , United States
Great service and quality merchandize in stock. The staff is not pushy and really knowledgeable about the equipment.
Awesome guitars and great service!
They have a ton of guitars, and other instruments, all for a really good price and the man working at the time was super friendly and helpful.
Pricey, but they’ve got it all
These guys are awesome. They’re not pushy salesman/saleswomen. They have a vast array of equipment and instruments. They are very helpful with any questions you have. 4 stars is only because of ONE issue. Their building is offset from the road, just enough that the faces of other buildings, block the storefront. A sign at the right of way would make it more easy to find.
My autistic 6 yr old daughter just started Piano lessons with a very nice woman who operates out of a music room in the back of the building. She was very friendly and I love her teaching methods so far. I rated 4/5 because Ive only had one lesson so far. My daughter loves her.
Manager Rick is nice to work with, but E.C.King is so rude that my son & I will never go back. Saturday 7/1/23 we walked in as a nice older couple bought 2 guitars, but I guess King thought they talked too much because after they left King railed on them for 10 minutes, while my son & I were 5 feet away, made the place seem really negative. Then he was rude to my son about a pedal, and made rude, snide comments to me even though we were being nice and I was at the counter buying a Telecaster. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes and ears, I’ve never seen a guitar store employee act like that, and I’ve been in a lot of guitar stores. Seems like some serious retraining needs to be done at Leitz Pensacola. We saw the opposite at Blues Angel, nice helpful people, and we bought a great guitar there— that’s where we’ll be going from now on.
Excellent service, prompt responses with questions or concerns. I highly recommend!
MRW Artisan is the place to go for ALL your woodwind needs. Not only is Dylan proficient in playing woodwinds, he’s a master at cleaning, tuning, and repairing them. His one on one instruction has been very beneficial for my daughter, who is in concert & marching band. The care he takes with each clarinet is beyond any service we’ve received from your run of the mill music stores, as he is thorough in his assessments & repairs. Dylan has definitely earned our business with his personalized care & incredible customer service! And also…you should hear him play!
Awesome place just got a new king silver flare during their big sale. Mister Schmidt and team were very helpful
Great staff. They have good quality equipment and knowledgeable staff who are also musicians. They go the extra mile.
I found what I was seeking. The sales staff friendly, knowledgeable, helpful! Price point I didn’t compare prices, but thought it was reasonable! M
Very helpful and friendly staff. They have a large variety of instruments and accessories.
Bought a clarinet from them for 1,111.94 was on sale originally 1900. A year later tried to trade it in. They offered 75$. They services this clarinet as well. Upgraded mouth piece. Long story short bad customer service owner wouldn’t even talk to us. Said he had lots of inventory but we saw none in store. Went to Schmitds and they offered a fair price for this and gained a customer. They were extremely nice. He said he gets a customer a week come in mad at these guys. 75$ smh.
Too expensive
They said “oh we can’t fix your flute because it is a hunter we don’t work on those
12. Gulf Breeze School of Music
Address: 5 Center Rd, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561 , Woodlawn Beach , Florida , United States
The staff is wonderful! Music lessons at the Gulf Breeze School of Music have been fun, enjoyable and educational!
Sydney looks forward to her lessons with Brooke. She started lessons to give her a jumpstart on the basics, but absolutely loves playing now. Brooke is so kind and patient with her students. I would highly recommend her.
I love this sweet school! My son and I attended the Kindermusic classes together when he was a baby. It was such a fun time for both of us and a great bonding experience. We plan on coming back in the fall to start music classes. I look forward to seeing the friendly staff and my son can’t wait to start music class again. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend Gulf Breeze School of Music for lessons. The staff are friendly and the two teachers my daughter has had experience with are excellent teachers.
I am completely appalled with this place and how they do business. My daughter was taking piano classes here until she was out of nowhere today dropped from classes. We were told she needed to zoom into her lesson today due to the A/C being out.
We do not have a piano so what we’re we suppose to do have her zoom and pay for a conversation!?. After the instructor asked about extending her future couple lessons we got an email stating we would receive a refund and that she was being dropped.
This is completely unacceptable way of business, you have lost all our business and I will do my best to spread the word.
Sincerely irate father
Zach
13. Guitar Center
Address: 6927 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504 , Woodlawn Beach , Florida , United States
First time ever in a music store for myself. I don’t know squat about how to play a guitar. I am 60 and that is about to end. Prices were reasonable and great service. I will return.
We bought a guitar on black Friday, we got it home and it was wrong. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I had some gear to sell and a fellow named Brett hooked me up. Kind of a shame he had so many people to cover, but I got good cash for very little work. I imagine I could have gotten more out of a private seller, but here I just piled it up and got paid cash. I am happy. Shouts as well to the tech who fixed my ukulele for free.
Music associated misc items
Nice folks but I remember Guitar Center way back in the early and mid 90’s so much more celection then now you go into the acoustic room only one 12 string acoustic Ibanez for $299 ? And any Taylor guitar over $1300 is locked down so disappointing the way things have changed sad so sad.
Meh. Limited selection.
I ordered a guitar on march 30th that said “in stock and ready to ship” and here we are 13 days later still being told maybe in a few more days. This was after many phone calls, chats, and messages including a phone call on the 9th where I was told the guitar was literally on a truck to ups as we speak and I’d get a tracking number via email that night. Only to call today (2days later) to check on the tracking number to find that was a lie also. Finally cancelled and bought somewhere else. It will be here Wednesday. 🙂
I went there because their website said they had several brands onhand which their competitor did not. Their selection was terrible, and I had trouble holding the attention of a salesperson. When finally I did pin one down, it took over a half hour to get them to order an instrument off their own online site. The salesman said to expect a week for delivery. I asked that it be delivered to the store, so they could check it for defects and set it up. The receipt said to expect 7-10 days. It’s been 10 days, and it’s still not at the store. I expect another day after it finally arrives, for set up; but wouldn’t be surprised if it takes a week. Avoid them, ever after.
I used to love Guitar Center in Pensacola. Customer service was terrific, selection was great, and I enjoyed shopping there. I was excited to see it come back after it closed a few years ago. The selection is still great, and the store looks incredible, but the customer service is severely lacking.
No one spoke to me the whole time I was there, which is fine, but still not typical of a place like Guitar Center. I went to check out and there were about four employees standing around talking. I had to get the attention of one of them so I could check out. The cashier (His name was Clark according to the receipt) was very cold, and acted like the whole process of ringing up my purchase was a major inconvenience for him. He asked me for my name, which I told him I preferred not to provide since I typically elect not to share personal information when I make purchases, and he passive aggressively slammed on the keyboard before informing me “Well I have to put something”. Furthermore, when I was putting my credit card in the reader to pay, without saying anything, he walked away from the counter to talk to another customer, while there were three people standing behind him who could have done it since he was in the middle of checking me out. I had to flag him down and get his attention to get a receipt. Maybe he was having a bad day or something, but still. This is not a way to treat paying customers. It shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I will probably utilize other music stores like Leitz Music or Blues Angel from now on.
I’ve loved vintage electronics for years and Tommy shares that same passion. Trust him for all your vintage stereo needs. Five stars, he is my go to guy!
This guy knows his stuff! Need a repair or ‘tweak’? — Tommy’s your man. I don’t trust my equipment to just anyone and when my usual guy moved I had to take a chance and fortunately it worked out. This guy is really easy to work with – refreshing to find someone so knowledgeable and Bonus: he’s super nice! Turn around was fast – and I learned a few things myself. Thanks!
I e-mailed Tommy about a week ago regarding my Pioneer RX-511 Tuner/EQ/Cassette Deck which I bought in 1991. NOTHING had never gone wrong with it in 30 years. I have my TV plugged into it so that I can listen to programming through my speakers (big and vintage as well). Well, about a week ago, the port where the TV cord went into my Pioneer tuner stopped producing sound. I searched the Web to see if there was anyone locally who worked on “vintage” components. I e-mailed Tommy’s Vintage Sound and got a prompt response suggesting I take some cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol and clean the port in question. Skeptical, I did as advised, and lo and behold, it worked!!! Had it not, Tommy said he would have been glad to take a further look. But it did, and I am really grateful for the simple fix, which I’m sure will come in handy as my Pioneer keeps chugging along.
Thanks again Tommy!

Address: 903 N 12th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32501 , Woodlawn Beach , Florida , United States
Was looking for some beach clothing. Found this place very reasonable and full of odds and ends.
Good deals and discounts on Wednesday
Like most thrift stores cluttered.
Pretty organized had some nice stuff…. kind of smelled like mold or dirty laundry
Book prices are excellent!
Over priced.
Probably why no one was in there today.
I was there the other day and thought I would stop by. I am from NC. I was not happy with the store. The prices were a little too high and didn’t like the lay out as to how they did their clothes hanging. It was the first store that I have been to and thought that it was odd because the sizes and clothes were too hard to find like that. Why you put hang the clothes normally?! The people were friendly though!
Prices too high.whoever is pricing the electronics is pricing them to sit there and NOT sell.helping hands in milton prices like a thrift store.
Nov 18, 2020. Atlanta, GA area: I have just received my Reverb.com online guitar purchase (Eastman E40D) from Blues Angels Music. This has to be the quickest shipped, best packed & setup guitar I have purchased—and I have a bad case of GAS!!!
Great and fair price, beautiful tone & workmanship from Eastman, and a great buying experience from a family owned business.
This is my first purchase from BAM, but it won’t be my last!!
Give them an opportunity. They’ll win your business also. No wonder BAM is a NAMM TOP 100 store!!!
JB
Store sales and support are always willing to help, friendly, and knowledgeable about the products I’ve asked about.
Glad there is a store like this here in Pensacola!
Buy Local!
Blues Angel personnel are awesome!!! Starlin and Dana are nothing short of Super Servers!!! KUDOS
The staff was so helpful
I love the people at Blues Angel! Always professional and friendly with great service. I live in Fort Walton Beach but always enjoy the BA experience.
Really cool atmosphere and nice staff. Wish they had a little more options with drum equipment but I realize they’re limited on space compared to bigger places.
Called about an item that we needed in an urgent situation while traveling and was told it was in stock. Called back to see if I could pay over the phone because I wasn’t sure I could get there before close and was told no, but salesperson said they would put it behind the counter. Called back after driving wide open for over 3 hours to tell them I’d be 6 minutes late and was told they didn’t have the item. No one ever tried to be helpful. I’ve been in sales for over 20 years and this is not how you earn any customers business.
Side burns guy is weird and mean, made fun of my friend because he was new.
My husband recently bought a guitar and rented music equipment for our wedding reception spending well over 500$. So earlier this week we went into the store to buy a drum set to support local business, but we wanted to try out the set before we bought it. when you walk into the store you can clearly see rooms set up for lessons and to try out music equipment before you buy it which we have done in the past.
We talked to a salesman who is bald with a beard who works in the rental section who was incredibly rude. When my husband asked if we could go into the drum room and test the drum kit before we buy one, he rudely informed my husband that we could try the drum set for kids in the corner. My husband asked the sales associate if we could check out the kit in the room with the drums and this time he walked us over to the room showed us the set and said these are not for anyone to play on and we could not try them out. Why are they in your lesson/ practice room if nobody plays them?
Dealing with this rude gentleman was very unfortunate because we give blue angel a lot of business. We have shopped at Blue Angel Music for a couple of years and buy music equipment from them on a regular basis. Now because of this rude sales associate and the way we were treated we will take our business to GUITAR CENTER in Pensacola
